At SimpleWAN, we’re always looking out for our customers. We are dedicated to helping them push past their competition with solutions that ensure security, compliance, constant uptime, and more. That’s why we make it a priority to integrate new services and make new partnerships that will positively benefit our customers.
Read on to find out more about three of the many ways we’ve been working toward improving our solution and service.
Nationwide ISP Outage Map
We now have our own internal down detector. Our nationwide ISP outage map is a free service that was designed to give individuals and businesses special insight into internet connectivity and uptime across the country. This public-facing system uses all of our internal monitoring and maps outages in real time to be reviewed across North America at no charge.
At SimpleWAN, we truly believe that everyone, regardless of provider or location, should be informed about their internet connection. That’s why we offer this service for free so you can share it with people you think could positively benefit from having this resource at hand. What’s more, our “ISP drill down” can display the different kinds of outages that certain ISPs have had at particular times. Check out this free service today.
Threat Management with Comodo
The security of our customers is our top priority. And as more and more businesses use the internet to run their day-to-day operations, there’s a greater risk of next-gen threats. That’s why we’ve partnered with Comodo to offer a threat management solution that prevents advanced persistent threats (APTs) both in and out of their networks.
The Comodo cyber security solution empowers our customers to reduce the risks of malware and ransomware by offering content filtering and management tools that help create a safe environment. Our partnership with Comodo now helps us deliver a strong level of network security that is not only affordable but also reliable.
Shodan
At SimpleWAN, we’ve integrated Shodan for our customers using our SD-WAN product. Shodan is a search engine for internet-connected devices that allows users to view and keep track of all their connected devices. With Shodan, users can better understand their digital footprint by having clear insight into how their devices are perceived on the internet by hackers. They can also locate their devices online and identify who’s using them.
Furthermore, Shodan’s services prevent hackers from scanning users through cyber security hacking databases that allow them to get into basic office networks. And if hackers already have information about your connection in their databases, Shodan can show you what information they harbor on your dashboard.
